PORTFOLIO WORKS:
First Octave - CD Packaging

ROLE: Art Direction, CD Packaging Design
PROBLEM: Create a series of CD jackets and labels for this childrens CD. Two local musicians (singer/songwriter) team up in regional elementary schools to expose kids to the art of song and lyric writing. At the end of each session, the songs which the children write as a group are recorded. Below are two of the eight packaging concepts for this project.
SOLUTION: Simple layout and "fun" type to reflect the atmosphere created by the childrens music. All artwork reproduces well in single color. Inner spread design was kept consistent across all designs at the request of the client.
