PORTFOLIO WORKS:

Sogni
URL: N/A

JOB: Freelance

COMPLETED IN: 2004

ROLE: Art Direction, Logo/Branding, Web Design, HTML Authoring

PROBLEM: Local independent fabric importer Beth Unger had no branding or identity and required a full collateral package including brochure/catalog and web site. The mark and type treatment needed to reflect both the quality and tradition of the Italian fabrics she imported while maintaining a level of modernism. The client had a limited budget and requested a single color mark/logo to help keep printing costs down.

SOLUTION: Utilized a classic pattern in the hybrid mark/logo with an Earthen tone brown to reflect the "natural" fabrics that the client imports. Typeface is a classic serif which has a European feel. The sticker on the left is used for wrapping purchases and to use on evelopes. It highlights the "old world" and contemporary style of the client while providing a unique marketing piece.

UTILIZES: Illustrator, Photoshop.
